Instructions:

Students walk around each other when the teacher says “stop” they need to find a partner. The teacher asks an academic question that needs to be discussed. When the teacher says “go” the students walk around again and find a new partner when the teacher says “stop”. Then the same or a different question is discussed. In foreign languages they could discuss stories that they have studied.

Variation:

You can use ‘walk and talk’ to add to the activity. Here the students are in pairs for a longer time and discuss several academic questions on their walk.
